On Friday, November 6, 2026, the Athens Area Chapter has scheduled our Back to School Tour. It’s an all-day excursion to the sites around the Classic City and the campus of the first public university in the nation, the University of Georgia. Participants will be teleported back to our college days, but don’t worry, we’ll stay sober. Visits will include cultural spots, cutting-edge research and teaching venues, and of course, athletic locations. Details of the trip are still being worked out, so stay tuned as plans gel. Fee for the day will include bus transportation and lunch.
